We're opening our brand-new blackberry patch! Join us for the first season of pick-your-own blackberries—fresh, sweet, and ready to be picked by you.
Available weekdays and weekends starting mid July

Berry-Beautiful Art Class
Ideal for ages 3–8, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Bring your budding artist to the orchard for a berry sweet day of creativity! Kids will enjoy a fun, hands-on experience designed to educate and inspire. We’ll start by picking our own blackberries from our new thornless trellis patch, then gather together for a short, engaging story about how berries grow.
Afterward, kids will use real berry juice to create one-of-a-kind art pieces to take home — all while enjoying the summer air surrounded by nature.

Rain Plan: This event will run rain or shine, unless dangerous weather arises. If cancelled due to weather, a rain date or refund will be offered.

Peach Picking Class
New this season at the orchard! Hop on the wagon for a ride through the peach trees, taste what’s ripe, and learn how to pick like a pro. Enjoy a farm-fresh bite, sip on a peachy refreshment, and head home with your own basket of handpicked peaches and recipes to match.
Expect summer temperatures and dress accordingly. Please be sure to bring your own sunscreen, hat and water.

Orchard Yoga
Experience yoga at Geig's Orchard with our certified instructor Audrey Patterson! This 60 minute gentle flow session blends yoga with nature, offering a peaceful escape from daily life. Suitable for all levels, Audrey’s expert guidance helps cultivate mindfulness and relaxation. Flow through poses inspired by the orchard's energy, promoting peace and rejuvenation. We will round out the morning together by picking a half peck of apples [included in your ticket] in the orchards. Reserve your spot today for this extraordinary experience amidst the apple trees. Embrace harmony of body, mind, and nature at Geig's Orchard.
Be sure to bring your own mat, towel for underneath (incase grass is wet), sunscreen, hat, and any props you would like to use.

Andrew Geig Harvest Festival
Mark your calendars for a meaningful day of giving back at Geig's Orchard as we proudly present the sixth annual Andrew Geig Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 27 2025. Join us for an inspiring event featuring a themed basket auction, exciting large ticket prizes, delectable food vendors, the first day of pick your own apples of the season, hayrides and an array of family-friendly activities.
This festival holds a special place in our hearts as we remember our beloved son, Andrew, who courageously battled cancer. In his honor, we have established this event to support various causes close to our hearts. The proceeds raised will contribute to college scholarship funds for local high school seniors, cancer research foundations, and local charities, providing assistance to families in need. Together, let's make a positive impact and create lasting change in our community.

We are happy to announce we are now a donor advised fund for our Andrew Geig Harvest Fest. We have created the “Andrew Geig Memorial Fund under the Akron Community Foundation”. They are a 501(c)3 charity that manages funds like ours. All of our proceeds from this years festival will go to this fund and then be granted to the Andrew Geig Scholarship Fund at Cloverleaf, Cleveland Clinic Velosano Cancer Research and the Children’s Center of Medina County.
Honeycrisp U-Pick Evening
Celebrate the height of Honeycrisp season with a golden-hour orchard experience just for adults. This relaxed, after-hours event invites you to pick your own Honeycrisp apples — crisp, juicy, and at their seasonal best — while enjoying fresh-pressed cider, live music, and dinner from a visiting food truck.
Whether you’re here for the apples or just to unwind around the bonfire with friends, it’s the perfect way to savor fall.
